Meta ads for fertility clinics: what the health and wellness policy allows

Meta allows IVF ads to people 18 and over, but not copy that implies the reader has a fertility problem.

Can you advertise IVF?

Yes: Meta lists IVF among the reproductive services you can promote, to people 18 or older (Meta, Health and Wellness).

What copy gets rejected?

Copy that asserts or implies a health condition: "Do you have diabetes?" is not allowed, "New diabetes treatment available" is (Meta, Personal Attributes).

So "Struggling to get pregnant?" is a risk, and "IVF with donor eggs in Prague" is not.

What claims get flagged?

The UK advertising regulator found clinic ads misleading for "best" without proof, percentages without patient numbers, and pregnancy rates instead of live birth rates (ASA, 2025).
